Where is my son's head?!?!

As much as I love to shoot landscapes and urban scenes, my son is one of the primary reasons why I got into photography in the first place. Like many soon to be fathers, getting a camera was part of my "to-do" list and it sort of just took off from there.

When I went ahead and processed this, I immediately knew I wanted to go black & white because I wanted to put emphasis on the light hitting my son's legs, stairs and railing. If I had processed this photo in color, I do not think it would have added much and probably would have had less impact.
