There is so much beauty in the world around us and I am thankful that I have the opportunity to capture the details that god has given us. I find this style relaxing without much stress since it enables me to enjoy the scene in front of me and just take it all in. Landscape photography also gives me the opportunity to wrestle with my own camera incompetencies without anyone watching which is great! ;-)
A win/win in my books.
There is something special that draws me to street photography. It must be the candidness of capturing everyday life out in public that makes it special in and of itself. I believe that this style of photography by far is the hardest to do simply for the fact that you are literally invading peoples space with your camera. It takes courage to get over that initial fear of working the streets but once you get over it, you can take some truly great photos of everyday moments.
There is so much to photograph in the city that I could never get tired of it. Everything from buildings/architecture to sunsets - its all there. When time permits, I like to go out into the city and try to take photos of different things from different perspectives. Each outing always has different results which makes it fun in and of itself
The little things in the world around us, often overlooked due to our busy lifestyles. Sometimes you just have to stop, take a deep breath, and simply take it all in. I hope my photos of nature give you a different view of the world around you.
Sports is a fun thing for me to shoot and I find it challenging as well as rewarding when you capture that expression on an athletes face before a score or during a time of celebration. Sporting moments happen very quickly and a camera can capture them for everyone to enjoy
